Module 2: Strategy and business model innovation

This day will provide you with an overview and insights into strategy formulation and the fundamentals of this academic field. You’ll be equipped with models, methods and well established strategy and business model innovation frameworks to help you make sense of how to position your company and adjust your strategy given external factors, as well as approach business innovation with fresh perspectives.

An engaging hands-on workshop designed to inspire participants to think creatively while equipping them with practical tools to turn ideas into actionable business.

Part 1: Strategy

In this session, we will dive into the core principles of strategy formulation, focusing on how to assess macro, micro, and external trends and effectively apply them to your company’s strategic direction. You’ll gain insights into aligning your company’s objectives with industry needs while fostering innovative thinking. This part equips you with structured methodologies to make informed decisions, ensuring that your strategy is both forward-thinking and adaptable to changing market conditions.

Part 2: Business model innovation

In this workshop, we will explore the fundamentals of business modelling. We will take inspiration from business models from other industries, applying methods to creatively imitate and ideate business model innovations in both the frontstage and backstage components of your current business model.
